Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Janet Flack graduated from Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School and Endicott College, Beverly Mass. Where she studied fashion Illustration. After studying Fine Art at The State University New York, Albany, she graduated from Harrington College of Design, Chicago Illinois where she majored in Interior Design. She is an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer.
She began her career in San Francisco, working with a number of architectural firms including Marquis Associates, Bond and Brown and Arthur Gensler and Associates. She moved to Philadelphia where she joined the Kling Linquist Partnership. She later worked with Peter Simoncelli and Associates as Director of Interior Design.
In 1982 she founded her firm in Kingston, Pa. Today Janet Flack Interiors provides all aspects of interior design from client contact, contract management, initial functional programming/project inventory through conceptual design, space planning, design/ color development, and construction management through move in.
Project credits include health care, libraries, hotel and hospitality, banks, corporate and private offices, private clubs, theaters, places of worship, funeral homes, and private residences.
